Through their 7 divisions, they serve New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, and northern New Jersey. Additionally they operate one branch, in Co-op City in the Bronx under the New York Community Bank name. NYCB Customer transactions can be made at any branch regardless of division. Additionally, transactions can be made at New York Commercial Bank branches (formerly Long Island Commercial Bank) and Atlantic Bank of New York branches, a division of New York Commercial Bank. Both were recently acquired, so full services to New York Community Bank customers may not yet be available. As of April 2, 2007, NYCB added Penn Federal Savings Bank to the New York Community Bank division, adding branches in East Central and North East New Jersey.
